[CA] CALPADS FLASH #283: 24−25 CALPADS Fall Submission Deadlines

1. 2024–25 CALPADS Fall Submission Deadlines:

• Fall 1 Certification Deadline: December 13, 2024
• Fall 1 Final Certification Deadline (Close of Amendment Window): January 24, 2025
• Fall 2 Final Certification Deadline: February 28, 2025
• Note: Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) approval is strongly encouraged but not required for Fall 1 Certification.

2. 2024–25 CALPADS Regional Meetings:

• Purpose: Communicate updates to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) regarding CALPADS.
• Meeting Dates and Focus:
  • September 24–25, 2024: Focus on Fall 1 and Fall 2
  • March 25–26, 2025: Focus on End of Year (EOY) submissions
  • May 20–21, 2025: Focus on Changes for the Upcoming School Year

3. Meeting Structure:

• Four sessions per meeting:
  • Regions: Northern, Central, Southern A, Southern B
  • Each session covers the same content.

4. Registration:

• Registration links will be available on the CALPADS Regional Update Meetings web page.
• Information will also be communicated via the listserv.

5. Special Accommodations:

• Contact the CALPADS Office at calpads@cde.ca.gov at least 15 days in advance for any special accommodation requests.
